One of the best parts of having a motorcycle is the reactions that you get from bystanders. No matter what you have done so far, you can do a little more to make your bike pop in the visual sense. You want people to hurt themselves with how fast they turn their heads when you blast down the street and rip around that corner. Let’s go over the simplest ideas and then you can run with them from there.
Get a custom paint job. Avoid flames and tiger stripes. They are overdone and kind of boring at this point. Take your bike to an airbrushing shop and get something really interesting painted on your ride. Think about your favorite sports team, favorite animals, favorite tattoos and favorite hobbies. Just avoid getting people painted on your bike. It is like getting a tattoo of someone you are dating. It is just asking for disaster.
Getting some more interesting motorcycle fairings is another great option. Instead of buying an entirely new bike or getting a really expensive paint job, you can get a new set of motorcycle fairings and breathe new life into that old bike.
Consider using plastic spray coats to highlight and accentuate the form of your bike. You do not need a whole airbrushing system to use them and you can quickly change between colors for some serious variability. The finishes are easily removed as well which makes changing your style and design extremely easy. I suggest keeping some extra sets of motorcycle fairings, a few cans of the plastic spray coating and some touch up paint on hand at all times. Keep them ready in your garage for when you eventually spill. It is likely to happen so you may as well be prepared.
